I am a Democrat, and am losing respect for the party...Why cannot the party "elders" stand up to the Clintons, and put an end to this "Hillaryland fairy tale"? We need to unite around our nominee, and the math definitely shows that Clinton does not have the delegates needed to win. Why is the party allowing her and her campaign surrogates to dismiss and try to weaken for the general election a strong and inspiring candidate who has rightfully and deservedly already won this nomination?

The West Virginia resounding defeat of Obama, who is trotting around as the self-proclaimed general election candidate, was an expression of PEOPLE POWER that has brought down governments and changed goverments in other countries. The PEOPLE POWER of Sen Clinton's smashing victory has proclaimed she is the Democratic presidential nominee. The PEOPLE POWER of Sen Clinton's victory trounced the pro-Obama biased media. Superdelegates who are endorsing Obama in an end run around the Democratic nomination process to swipe the nomination for Obama should LISTEN UP and heed the supreme force of PEOPLE POWER that buttresses Sen. Clinton. "OBAMA BACKERS MAKE THEIR THREAT" - Executive Intelligence Review - "Those who are attempting to shut down the Clinton campaign and control this Presidential election have no allegiance to (the) Democratic Party, or to the United States." http://www.larouchepub.com/other/2008/3520threat_to_clinton.html

i have been hunting coyotes with hounds my whole life & have been many times 1 to 2 feet aaway from them many times and found that the only time one would become feirce enough to come at me is if it had no were else to go,protecting it's pups i've only had 2 cases that one actually stood it's ground over a food source but never tried to come at me just snarled & growled so i walked away i do have to agree with some other inquires that those who live in city limits are always affraid of what they don't under stand so right away it's bad coyote's are an important part of our eco system i own a farm & on any given night can walk through my pastures with a light and see coyotes my house dog always joins me & never once have i been botherd i think that poeple need to do some more searching before they condemn something the picture of the coyote you have with it's mouth wide open showing it's teeth is a very good photo of a coyote yawning if it was doing this pose as a threat it's back hair would be ruffled & it's tail would be propped more strait " final statement if we dont under stand certian people say like the amish should we be so quick to to hate & want to get rid of them also think about it it works both ways they were here before us were losing our heritage at an alarming rate don't be in such a hurry to destroy it all maybe all the complainers should get off thre buts and take a ride through the rural country areas they might find they like the smell of fresh air or the taste of non clorinated water there's more than just black top out there.

You don't hear about the problems on farms because farmers shoot coyotes if they threaten their livestock.

Well if Coyotes are roaming our cities they must be a little over populated as well...so maybe we should open a season for them since thats what "hunting season" is for to decrease the over population of deer as well as other animals. I think the report was more about awareness then anything else. We recently relocated to the city and are no stranger to all types of wild animals including coyotes...which can also be very destructive animals. So maybe someone should google that and get their facts straight. I have also personally seen a coyote as well as many other types of wildlife that don't belong in a city, roaming the streets of Amsterdam such as skunks, badgers, and other such critters. So next time you city folk goto pet the pretty kitty or puppy maybe you should watch Fox 23 or google it and find out what it really is or you may be in for an unpleasent surprise.

I'd like to say the article appearing on this site is not as bad as the commericals scaring people into watching the TV news report on it, so Fox 23 can tell us how to "keep your families and pets safe". This kind of scar tactic approach lead to the wolf population dwindling down to nothing in NY.

This article suggests the presence of coyotes is decreasing the deer population in a negative way. My understanding, which was backed up by articles found in a simple google search, is the deer in this area over populated. The over population of deer causes damage to the forest and starvation of deer in the winter. Since we over hunted the wolves which are now gone in this area and we over developed the land; the problem of deer and this so-called "coyote threat" is not a problem with nature but our problem with entitlement issues in how we utilize our resources. I laugh at the previews of this story making the evening news tonight. It is a classic news media scar tactic taking a situation which is normal but hyping up negative human-nature interactions. Jumping on the ban wagon of last weeks report of the coyote attack in southern California making it an issue in the capital region is not news reporting, it's sensationalizing normal occurances. Limiting natural predators + over developing land = negative human/animal interaction. Unfortunately these occurances will most likely increase because of our own arrogant ways. People who live on farm land or in more rural areas have been dealing with this for years without sensationalizing it. Once suburban America is impacted it suddenly becomes news worthy?
