We're entering a pretty tranquil period of weather for the next 6 or 7 days. There are no major storms in the forecast, and not much in the way of precipitation in general.

| Mild Finish To January, Warm Start To February
We start the day over 30° above our "normal" overnight lows for this time of year. Temperatures are already in the mid and upper 40s for parts of the region on their way once again into the upper 40s and low 50s for this first day of February.

| Fitting End For A Mild January, Even Warmer Start To February
A warm front lifting thru the region overnight put down some light accumulations of snow once again. That means watch out for some slick spots on the roads again this morning again.

| Another Round Of Light Snow Tonight, Then A Midweek Warm Up
Lake effect snow showers continue for portions of the region today followed by another round of accumulating snow overnight and then a warm up for midweek.

Temperatures are very close to the freezing mark around the region with some pockets of below freezing temps to the north, hence the areas of freezing rain mixed in with the normal rain.
