This position will manage all the digital media communication associated with our television station. The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the General Sales Manager and will coordinate overall digital strategy, facilitate relationships with digital vendors and be responsible for all areas of our digital platform within the station.
This will include revenue planning, sales, researching opportunities for development and future technologies.
An annual revenue goal for the station will be established.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a complete understanding of digital technology including broadcast websites, mobile platforms, apps, and texting plus current and emerging social media platforms, specifically as they relate to broadcast media.
An in-depth understanding of analytics, reputation management, and mobile marketing is critical.
The successful candidate should be highly proficient with Google Analytics, Facebook, AdWords, Twitter and Excel. In addition, we are looking for an entrepreneurial spirit that is willing to create and execute new ideas that will help drive visitors, viewership, and revenue via online and offline channels.
Min of 3 yrs experience in web management, solid knowledge of internet technologies, mobile devices, social media platforms.
Proven leadership ability & successful experience directing & managing through others.
A track record of independent thinking, reasoned analysis, and problem solving; ability to establish and balance priorities.
Strong budgeting skills, demonstrating creative uses of available resources.
Experience as a team member with the ability to establish and maintain relationships.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well in pressure situations.
4-year college degree preferred; broadcasting background helpful.
