Stephanie Grady is the morning anchor of FOX23 News. She joined the FOX23 News team in June 2011 as an Anchor/Reporter. Stephanie is thrilled to be back in the Capital Region, her family's home away from home for many years.
Although she is a Pennsylvania native, Stephanie is no stranger to our area. She has been traveling to Lake George since she was a little girl for many summer and winter weekends. She loves to water-ski, wakeboard and snow ski.
Stephanie comes to FOX23 from WSAZ in Huntington, West Virginia where she worked as the Weekend Anchor and Reporter.
Before that, Stephanie was the Morning Anchor at WSEE in Erie, Pennsylvania. During her time in Erie, she was also the Business Reporter and Anchor for One Caribbean Weather, a 24/7 news channel that aired in 37 countries in the Caribbean and Central America.
Stephanie got her start in television by anchoring newscasts at her alma mater, Penn State University where she graduated with degrees in broadcast journalism and business. She won five Hearst Journalism Awards during her time at PSU. She also created and hosted “The U,” a weekly talk show that is still going strong today at Penn State.
Stephanie is also an accomplished athlete, receiving gold medals in both Freestyle and Moves-in-the-Field from the United States Figure Skating Association.
