Tom Esterguard is the Weekend Meteorologist at FOX23 News. He joined the team in April 2009, after working at the CBS station in Syracuse.
Before coming to FOX23 Tom was the fill-in meteorologist at WTVH. He is a graduate of Oswego State University and holds a bachelor of science degree in meteorology. Tom is currently a member of the American Meteorological Society.
Tom grew up in Marcellus, New York, in the Syracuse area. He says the crazy winters, especially the lake effect snow, made him love the weather and the forecasting challenges it brings.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing golf, rooting for the New York Jets, and spending time with family and friends.
