Torie Wells joined the FOX23 News Team in May 2007 and is now a General Assignment Reporter.
Before she began reporting, Torie worked on both the assignment desk and as a special projects producer at FOX23.
She is a Guilderland native, and is thrilled to be back in the Capital Region covering the area she calls home.
Torie graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in political science. While there, she was involved with several campus television stations, including Citrus TV and the Orange Television Network. Torie feels extremely fortunate to be doing a job that she loves. She is always looking for an interesting story ideas-so if you have one, make sure to e-mail her.
In her spare time she enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, watching the latest SU game and reading.
