Middle of Nowhere actress Emayatzy Corinealdi is reportedly in talks to replace Zoe Saldana as the female lead in the Miles Davis biopic.

The Avatar star was cast to play Davis' wife Frances in Miles Ahead, opposite Don Cheadle, but she has now dropped out of the film due to a scheduling conflict, according to Deadline.com.

Cheadle will direct the movie and portray the jazz musician, while Ewan McGregor will co-star.

Davis died in 1991 at the age of 65.
