Fox has ordered two additional episodes of New Girl and Raising Hope, Deadline reports.

The additional orders come several days after Fox also expanded The Mindy Project's freshman season to 24 episodes. However, fellow first-year comedy Ben and Kate will produce a 19-episode first season. Fox still has the midseason comedy The Goodwin Games, starring Becki Newton and Scott Foley, to premiere sometime this season.

New Girl's first season was also expanded to 24 episodes last year.

So far this season, sophomore comedy New Girl has averaged 5.11 million viewers, and third-year sitcom Raising Hope has averaged 4.05 million viewers.
