A new survey of 1,000 Britons regarding appropriate fashion and behavior has found that 31 is the oldest many people feel it is appropriate to get a tattoo. The study of 500 men and 500 women aged between 18 and 70 also found that very steep high heels should not be worn by those over 32, men shouldn’t grow goatee beards older than 32 and women over 48 should not wear bikinis. Ending a text or and email with a ‘x’ should stop at 35, and text abbreviations like "LOL" should not be used by people over 29 while emoticons are for those 26 or under. High fives should be out of the question for anyone over 27, the survey suggests.
