ALBANY, N.Y. – Thousands of Beatles fans flocked to the Times Union Center to see Sir Paul McCartney kick off his U.S. tour.
Hours before the music legend took the stage, fans of all ages jammed out to their favorites Beatles tune.
For many people, Saturday’s concert was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
“I’ve like him ever since I was nine-years-old,” said Pat Roberts.
Some people even paid hundreds, even thousands, of dollars for tickets to the solo show in Albany.
For David Smith, the concert was a chance for his five-year-old son Reagan to make new memories.
“He’s a bigger fan than I am, and I’m a big fan,” said Smith.
The living legend,who is now in his 70s, has built a fan base spanning several generations.
