ALBANY, N.Y. - Police in Albany are investigating who left a dead dog, shot in the head three times, in the woods near the University at Albany Nano College campus.

Police Investigators say the dog, described as a mixed breed weighing about 50 pounds, was found dead in the woods behind the Center for Environmental Sciences and Technology building Tuesday. Investigators say the dog appeared to have been also tied at its hind legs.

The dog was turned over for further investigation.

Authorities are now checking surveillance video, trying to determine when the animal was left in the area. Police do not believe the suspect is a UAlbany student.

Well said, these people make me sick and should be put away for a long long time...they should not be in society. These are exactly what they mean. " if u see something, say something" clearly he's unstable.

Here we go again more ball-less scumbags!!!! It just proves whoever did this hasn't got the balls to pick on someone their own size and not defenseless.I hope someone finds out who this ball-less wonder is and inflicts the same amount of pain to him or them that this poor dog had to suffer until they themselves take their last breathe of air.
