When will the media stop covering for our Governor? It's getting stale already. This arrest has nothing to do with the Safe act. If anything it points out how much we don't need more laws. What we need is enforcement of the ones already on the books. Take these scum bags off the streets already.

Yet another misleading headline. The magazine limit in NYS was 10 rounds prior to the NY SAFE ACT and owning a pistol without a permit was also already illegal. This arrest was not due to the NY SAFE ACT. But it does demonstrate the fact that throwing more laws at criminals will not fix the problem. This CRIMINAL did not limit the rounds in his gun to 7. But Cuomo wants the law abiding citizens to limit them, putting us at a distinct disadvantage against people like this.

Before the SAFE act a Handgun Permit was required in the state of NY and still is. He would have been arrested regardless of number of bullets or magazine size.
