TUPPER LAKE, N.Y. (AP) - Hunters are again being asked by police to keep an eye out for any signs of a teenager who disappeared in the Adirondacks after leaving a party 18 months ago.
With hunting seasons starting, state police and forest rangers are reminding the public of the missing person case of 18-year-old Colin Gillis of Tupper Lake.
Troopers say he was last seen walking along state Route 3 between Tupper Lake and Piercefield early on the morning of March 11, 2012. Police say Gillis was a student at Brockport State College. He on spring break when he went to a party and never returned home.
Police are asking any hunters heading into the woods around Tupper Lake to be observant for anything unusual or out of the ordinary. They also issued the same advisory last fall.
