Sports stores like Sports Authority are full of Super Bowl memorabilia and now every fan is scrambling to get their hands on something to commemorate the Giants' big win.
"My son in law. Today is his birthday and I was waiting to see who was going to win before I brought a present because he's a Giants fan," says Diane Neal, of Colonie.
Fans here have an extremely up close and personal connection to the team.
"Ever since they started their training camp here," says Tina Lounello, of Colonie. "My husband and I work at SUNY Albany and both my sons have worked the training camps too."
And now, one local restaurant has it's own connection. Wolf's 1-11 in Colonie was showcased in one of GE's Super Bowl commercials.
"Most people are like how did they choose you," says owner Mike Diraddo. "I guess they checked around 50 places and we ended up being the place to shoot it. So we were honored to be picked by GE."
Delmar's Carey Trappenburg was just having lunch when he landed a speaking role in the spot. As a Giants fan, he says the experience was great.
"I don't know what could make it better," Trappenburg. "The next one would have to be pretty amazing to surpass this one."
The fun isn't over yet. Yankee trails will be sending 3 bus loads down to the parade Tuesday.
"First thing we got in this morning our phones started ringing right away," says Jeffrey Adams, with Yankee Trails.
"Just to say I was at a Super Bowl championship parade," says Tom O'Brien, of Colonie. "I was at the Yankees. Now I want to go to the Giants."
