ALBANY, N.Y. – National Grid employees came together to help restore the local Vietnam Memorial.

More than two dozen employees spent their Sunday volunteering their time to restore the Vietnam Memorial in Lafayette Park. The volunteers laid new dirt and topsoil around the monument, dug a trench for a new light course, and planted flower beds.

Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan along with National Grid officials were also in Lafayette Park during the project on Sunday.
