GLOVERSVILLE, N.Y. - Police have arrested a Gloversville man who allegedly left his 8-year-old and 12-year-old children home alone, unsupervised, while he traveled to New York City.
The Gloversville Police Department says 38-year-old Jonathan Morrison, of 17 Allen Street in Gloversville, was arrested after police responded to the report of two children left home alone on Friday, March 1st. Investigators say the two boys, who Morrison was responsible for caring for, were left alone and unsupervised for more than 24 hours.
Morrison has been charged Monday with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and was released on his own recognizance with a scheduled court appearance.
