LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - A new Siena poll was released on Sunday morning and it focused on education in Upstate New York.
The main point in the Times Union/Siena Poll is that the jury seems to be out on Common Core. According to the numbers, 50-percent of residents agree that in the long run, the new learning standards will increase student success. However, 44-percent are not convinced.
A majority of the poll also say they think the roll-out was rushed and needs a timeout to re-evaluate the system.
