Public asked to avoid area of Albany for police activity

ALBANY, N.Y. – Albany Police are asking people to avoid the area of Clinton Avenue and Ontario Street.

Police at the scene say a man was on the second floor with four children inside. 

A SWAT Team entered the first floor to begin negotiations around 11 a.m. Police confirm the stand-off has since ended.

The public should avoid the area for the next few hours.
