BROADALBIN, N.Y. - The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is currently conducting an underwater search at the Great Sacandaga Lake near the Broadalbin Boat Launch for two men who went fishing on Saturday and did not return home.

The Sheriff's Office says 51-year-old Mark Richards and 24-year-old Brent Richards, both from Broadalbin, parked their car in the area of Macvean Road, off Lakeview Road in the town of Broadalbin, on Saturday morning and launched their small boat.

They were reported missing to the Sheriff's Office on Sunday night after they failed to come home.

Their car was found located on Macvean Road and items that would have been in the boat were found floating near the shore.

A search of the shoreline Sunday night did not turn up anything. Law enforcement is searching the water at this time.
