QUEENSBURY N.Y – A victim is being treated for gunshot wounds after a shooting at the Queensbury Walmart Wednesday night.
Police received a call for an active shooting incident at the store at around 9 p.m. Authorities believe the victim and suspect know each other, and that the shooting was an isolated incident, with no threat to the public.
Authorities say the victim was shot in the parking lot and then ran into the store. They were shot in the upper torso and face, suffering non-life threatening injuries. They are being treated at Glens Falls Hospital.
Investigators processed the scene, but were unable to recover the weapon used in the incident.
Walmart reports everything is back to normal at the store.
Raymond C. White, age 54, of Lake George, is being sought for questioning in the incident. He was last seen driving a tan or gold 1998 Nissan Maxima with a NY license plate GGS2975. Police strongly caution anyone from approaching or confronting him.
If you have any information on White's whereabouts, you are asked to call State Police.
