HUDSON FALLS, N.Y. – Police say seven teenagers have been arrested and charged for allegedly luring their fellow students to places, assaulting them, and videotaping the fights.

Authorities say there were three unrelated incidents, involving different groups of teens. The incidents began in May when the first one happened at a teenager's parent’s home.

The second incident took place at a Cumberland Farms gas station and the third happened in a hallway of the high school.

Those involved in the acts are between 13 and 17 years of age.

Authorities say the video was not posted on the internet, but it was traded among friends.

Nonetheless, police say they’re taking the incidents seriously, explaining that at least one of the teens will be prosecuted as an adult.

"The most disturbing thing here is that there really isn't a motivation for at least the students who are recording it, except for the interest in having your own fight video and being the first one to share it with your peers,” said Hudson Falls Police Sgt. John Kibling.
