ALBANY, N.Y. - Officials are celebrating Albany's South End revitalization Monday morning.
Phase three is complete with 56 affordable housing units that are ready for families to move into and call 'home'.
The units are all Energy Star homes and all newly constructed or rehabilitated historic structures in the South End. Phase three cost nearly $10 million.
A 1,000 foot square commercial laundromat also has been built, which officials tell NEWS10 ABC, was a necessary neighborhood amenity.
The first and second phase of the South End revitalization began back in 2008.
