GUILDERLAND, N.Y. – Guilderland Police say there was a water rescue in Normans Kill Creek at French's Hollow on Saturday morning.

According to police, around 6:46 a.m., authorities received a call for two young men that were drinking alcohol on the French's Hollow Foot Bridge. Shortly after, a second call reported that the two men jumped off the bridge, a 50 foot drop into the Normans Kill Creek.

Officers responded to the scene to find a 21-year-old was still in the water semi-conscious and unable to move due to injuries.

Rescue teams responded for a water rope rescue.

The 21-year-old and 22-year-old were taken to Albany Medical Center. The 21-year old is listed in serious condition. The 22-year old has been treated for minor injuries.
