CAPTURED: The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force says Marcel Smith has been arrested.
Smith was arrested at a residence in Colonie without incident. Authorities say he was arraigned at the Albany City Court on charges of second degree criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment.
He is now in the Albany County Jail without bail.
The U.S. Marshals say his arrest comes a day after the Albany Police Department received an anonymous tip on his whereabouts.
On Oct. 18 Smith allegedly fired eight shots from a .40 caliber handgun in the 300 block of Sherman Street in Albany. The person he allegedly was shooting at was not injured.

The United States Marshals Service and the Albany Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in apprehending Marcel Smith.
Smith is wanted on firearms charges.
He is described as a black male, 5'8" tall and weighing 200 lbs.
He is 31 years old and has ties to Albany, Schenectady and Troy.
