CAPTURED: Capital Region's Most Wanted - Tony Tunstall
One of the Capital Area's Most Wanted is behind bars thanks to a FOX23 viewer.
Tony Tunstall, 45, was wanted by the U.S. Marshals service and the Troy Police Department for failure to register as a sex offender. The U.S. Marshals say he was convicted in July 1986 for first-degree attempted rape.
The task force got a call from a FOX23 viewer that Tunstall was in the area of Washington Avenue and Lark Street in Albany.
They set up surveillance and he was arrested Tuesday night.
"Most calls want to stay anonymous but they say this is what I've seen and even if it's small, it's something our task force can act on," said Bill O'Toole with the U.S. Marshals Service.
