Albany Police are investigating a stabbing inside of Envy at 3:30 am this morning that left two bouncers with wounds to their stomach and arm.
Roger Zapata, 23, and Carl Holmes, 22, were attempting to break up an altercation inside the club when they were stabbed by an unknown male. Zapata sustained a stab wound to his stomach and Holmes a stab wound to his left arm. Both men were transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment. Their wounds are not considered serious.
The suspect, who is described as a light skin black male, bald and approximately 5'10", was last seen running north on North Pearl Street towards the Capital Rep parking garage.
It is not clear if the suspect was involved in the altercation the bouncers were attempting to break up.
