The Health Department tells FOX23 News, a resident from Albany County has died after eating the contaminated beef, recalled over the weekend.
That adult did have other underlying medical conditions.
The beef came from Fairbanks Farms and was sold at Price Chopper, BJ's and several other stores.
The beef had a sell by date from September 19th through the 28th.
