SOUTH GLENS FALLS N.Y. - Children clung to the inside of the airborne inflatable bounce house as eyewitnesses watched the freak accident unfold, claiming it was like a scene out of a horror film.

One girl and two boys were inside the bounce house when a gust of wind yanked the toy off the ground.

The girl's sister says she witnessed the incident unfold, telling NEWS10 ABC her sister fell out as the bounce house started to float away.

The two boys were trapped inside and did not fall out until the inflatable toy was about 15-20 feet off the ground.

Police say the two boys suffered serious injuries, including head trauma. They were flown to Albany Medical Center, at last check one boy remains in an induced coma.

Neighbors say the owner of the bounce house had the toy for several years, and always properly staked it to the ground.

Police recovered the bounce house where it landed, in the sports field at Oliver Winch Middle School.

The incident remains under investigation.
