From the Colonie Police Department:
The Colonie Police Department has made an arrest for a burglary that occurred at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 510 Albany Shaker Road that occurred on 09-05-09. The defendant entered the Church and stole a personal check that was ultimately cashed in Rensselaer County. The defendant is known to present herself to local churches as a person in need of shelter, money, food, medical treatment, etc. when in fact she is attempting to receive this assistance under false pretense. After gaining the confidence of the church the defendant accepts this assistance and/or uses the access to the church to commit larcenies therein. It is believed that many of her crimes have been unreported or the victims have not realized they are even victims. The Colonie Police is asking that if anyone recognizes this defendant and believes that she has committed a burglary, larceny or scam contact their local police agency.

Defendant is also know to travel with a black male (boyfriend) however there are no charges filed against him or pending.
