Colonie coach expected in court

COLONIE, N.Y. - The Colonie Central High School basketball coach who wasarrested by Albany Police for possession of crack cocaine will be in court Monday.

James Boland, 55, is facing possession charges. Police say he was arrested on Pieter Schuyler Court in Albany.

Boland was a long-time assistant for Colonie Central and recently took over the varsity basketball team. He is also a social studies teacher.

Boland has been placed on administrative leave with pay pending the outcome of the investigation and applicable proceedings.
