Concert crackdown for Phish fans

Saturday was night one of the Phish concert at SPAC and several arrests have already been made. It’s all part of a police effort to crack down on drugs and alcohol at the park.

"There’s no need for it here, maybe other concerts where people are crazy," said Ben Storey, a Phish fan." Spoken like the pot smoking moron he is. Then why do they put up the fences and bring in extra security for bands like Phish or Dave Mathews? It's cause the hippies are cheap and destructive. Go to any other show during the summer, no fences, and normal security. The lawn at SPAC after any of the jam bands is always completely covered in garbage, then when you leave after the show, the people don't leave, they sit around, and walk in traffic. Again go to any other show, the fans make their noise, the get rowdy, and they leave. Sure there's a few bad eggs at any show, but the jam bands are the worst.
