ALBANY, N.Y. – A fire broke out early Friday morning in Albany.
Crews received a call around 4:15 a.m. Friday for a fire at 629 Third St.
Responders had a hard time getting close to the fire because of the snow. The fire chief said hydrants were buried under snow, and crews had to shovel them out.
The building on fire was a garage and poor construction forced crews to battle the blaze from the outside.
The chief said responders were able to take the roof off the building to help ventilate the building.
