Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has filed an antitrust suit against Intel.
He claims the company used illegal threats and collusion to dominate the marketplace for computer microprocessors.
Cuomo says they tried to prevent the sale of competitors' products by paying billions of dollars in kickbacks to computer manufacturers.
In Maym Intel was fined more than 1-billion dollars by the European Union over similar charges.
The company has denied wrongdoing.
