ALBANY N.Y. - People scramble to celebrate the last days of summer making Labor Day Weekend is one of the busiest times for travel.

Returning home from your last summer get away should be easier this holiday, Governor Cuomo has put a halt to all construction work until after the three-day weekend.

This Labor Day Weekend there will be no delays due to road work in New York State.

According to Triple A nearly 86 percent of holiday travelers will travel by car, which is a one percent increase from last year.

Triple A also states that people will be paying the lowest gas prices since 2010, though officials believe this will have little impact on the number of people traveling for Labor Day.

Constructions will resume as planned as of 6 a.m. Tuesday.
