Electric bus demonstration in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. — A full size, 40 foot, electric bus was brought to Albany by Proterra on Tuesday.

The bus made three stops throughout the Capital Region.

At 8:30 a.m. the bus stopped at the CDTA headquarters. Later on at 11 a.m., the bus stopped at UAlbany Uptown Campus where representatives from Proterra were present.

The bus made a third stop at 2 p.m. on the corner of Washington Avenue and Hawk Street where elected officials attended.

The bus stop event was organized by Citizens for Public Transportation.
