ALBANY, N.Y. – The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for public assistance with identifying an unknown male who is suspected of exploiting a child.
The FBI Albany Division released information and photos of John Doe 28 on Wednesday. They say the initial images and video of the suspect were first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in November 2012.
Officials believe that the images that have obtained of John Doe 28 contain clues which may assist in the identification of this suspect.
The video depicts the subject and victim inside a residence that appears to have a blue sofa and a picture hanging on a wall in the background. The subject is also wearing wire-framed glasses and a burgundy t-shirt with a shark logo on the left side. He appears to be in his 30s or 40s with a receding hairline.
The FBI says that there are no specific details linking the suspect with a particular state or region in the United States. His identity and whereabouts are unknown.
