New details today on Trooper David Lane who was killed wednesday after a crash on Route 32 in the town of Catskill.
According to a report in the Watertown-Daily Times, Trooper Lane was in Watertown on Election Night on Tuesday to help his mom celebrate her win in the Jefferson County Clerk's race.
Trooper Lane had also served in the Army with the 82nd Airborne Division and was a veteran of wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
