LIVINGSTON, N.Y. – Early Saturday morning, around 1:45 a.m., the Livingston Fire Department responded to The Historic Blue Stores Restaurant for a report of a structure fire.

Upon arrival to the Route 9 restaurant, Livingston firefighters responded along with 18 other local fire departments along with the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control and the Columbia County Fire Coordinator.

The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation was requested to assist at the scene due to the large structure size, significant damage and monetary loss of the historic building.

Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
