'Freeze Out' in Albany to call attention to homeless vets

ALBANY, N.Y. – The 2nd annual "Freeze Out" for homeless veterans will be held Saturday evening until Sunday at noon.

Members of the Sheehy-Palmer Post #6776 and Wigand Post #8444 plan to brave the cold on Saturday night in hopes of calling attention to homeless veterans in Albany County and throughout the country.

The Freeze Out will begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday and last until noon on Sunday. Following the event, the public is invited to a $10 pancake breakfast at the Sheehy-Palmer Post #6776 on Delaware Avenue.
