MOREAU, N.Y. – The deadline for Judy Viger to either accept or reject a plea deal is Thursday.

Viger has been charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child after she allegedly hired strippers for her son's 16th birthday party in November 2012.

Authorities say more than 50 kids, some as young as 14-years-old, were at the party. Police were alerted after some pictures of the strippers with underage kids surfaced online.

Under the plea deal, the criminal charges against Viger would be dropped if she stays out of trouble and takes parenting classes. Viger's lawyer, Joseph Brennan, says the 34-year-old hired the woman to do a "bikini-gram," meaning she would sing "Happy Birthday" to her son.

If Viger does not take the plea deal, then her case will head to trial. If she is found guilty, she would could face up to a year in jail.
