ALBANY, N.Y. – An annual neighborhood food drive was held on Sunday.

The 7th Annual Neighborhood Food Drive to benefit the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York will take place 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday.

This food drive is the largest individually sponsored and administered food drive in the history of the local Regional Food Bank. More than 6,000 bags were delivered to homes, asking for non-perishable food donations.

The donations were collected on Sunday.

In 2013, more than 17,000 pounds of food was collected over the weekend.

The food drive is being held at the Busch Residence at 52 Bentwood Court East in Albany.
