SARATOGA SPRINGS N.Y. –The 34th open house of the New York Racing Association open house was held Sunday.
NYRA held a preseason party giving fans a taste of what is in store when the Saratoga Race Courses gates officially open.
The open house featured several activities, some of which being carnival games, live music, pony rides, and behind the scenes tours of the track.
"We decided to bring up my two grandchildren for the afternoon," said Bill Jones.
All proceeds from NYRA’s open house are going towards local nonprofit groups.
Friday is the opening day for the Saratoga Race Course.
