NISKAYUNA, N.Y. - A committee will present its recommendations on how the Niskayuna School District should be reconfigured at the school board's meeting Tuesday evening.
Three of six options currently remain.
Option one involves closing one of the five elementary schools, and leaving the two middle schools alone.
The second option would close one elementary school and split up the grades between Van Antwerp and Iroquois Middle Schools.
The third would create a "middle school campus" with Rosendale Elementary and Iroquois Middle School, while closing Van Antwerp.
The details in those three choices that will be discussed at the board meeting at 7 p.m. at the district office board room.
