Non-life threatening shooting being investigated by Albany PD

ALBANY, N.Y. - Albany police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday morning on Orange Street.

According to authorities, around 9:00 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of Clinton Avenue for a report of a shooting. Officer located a male victim with a single gunshot wound to his leg.

The 28-year-old victim told police he was shot on Orange Street near Lexington Avenue.

The man was treated at the scene and taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
