SCHODACK, N.Y. – State Police say they are investigating the cause of a truck fire that happened in the town of Schodack.
A rental truck carrying copy machines began smoking while on I-90 eastbound on Thursday, according to authorities.
A passing motorist had to flag the driver, who was unaware of smoke coming from the back of the truck.
The driver, Jeremy Wagner, pulled over and the truck fire became fully involved.
I-90 was closed for a short period of time Thursday morning between exits 11 and 12, but it has been reopened.
