It's an unlikely sight on Central Ave- a mobile missile with a message.
Ed Frank with Choices 301 said that choice is simple. Drink and drive, or call a cab.
"That missile says it, a drunk driver is as dangerous as a misguided missile. Over the top to some people? I don't think so," he said.
For three days David Andrick and his wife Michelle have been literally driving that message home. And getting a big response.
"Giving us the thumbs up, ok, they liked the message, smiling, waving, they get it," said Andrick.
Law enforcement and stop DWI advocates are hoping that people do get it. Especially tomorrow.
"Only one winner in the superbowl- only one. If you want to be a winner don't drink and drive," said Frank.
Frank said that it's easy. Just have a plan. Before you go out find a designated driver, or a number for a cab. Otherwise-
"You can wreck life for your family and others forever," said the missile truck.
Anna Russo knows that first hand. Her daughter Gabby and nephew Nicholas were both killed by a drunk driver 20 years ago.
"Please don't be selfish, don't be that person who killed Gabriella Russo, but be responsible. That means don't drink and drive-period," she said.
Tomorrow her family will get together with those they love, without Gabby, without Nicholas.
"Even though he was only six when the games were on he didn't even understand them but he was very excited," she said.
Blanket DWI patrols continue through this weekend including tomorrow night. If you're looking for a safe ride home, Martin, Harding and Mazzotti are once again offering free cab rides. That number is 1-800-LAW-1010.
