Police: Five injured during shooting in Troy

TROY, N.Y. – Five people suffered from gunshot injuries early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

Troy Police say that the victims were shot around 12:30 a.m. in the area of 121 to 125 4th Street in Troy. Three adult males and two adult females have been identified as the victims. 

None of the injuries appear to be life threatening according to Troy Police Captain John Cooney. 

A preliminary investigation revealed that one subject on foot fired upon pedestrians outside of the 4th Street address. 

Those injured were all directly struck by the gunfire and the suspect fled on foot. 

Troy Police are not releasing the suspect’s description at this time and no arrests have been made.

An update will be made by Troy Police at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. NEWS10 ABC will have a crew at Troy Police headquarters to bring you the latest information.
