COXSACKIE, N.Y. (AP) - State police say a 27-year-old man has been charged with stealing heavy construction vehicles worth more than $300,000 from several locations in the Hudson Valley.
Troopers say Joshua Flach of Coxsackie in Greene County was arrested Wednesday on six counts of criminal possession of stolen property.
Police say their investigation began last month when an excavator, a front-end loader and two other vehicles were reported stolen in the town of Bethlehem, just south of Albany.
They say a search of a property in Coxsackie rented by Flach turned up the stolen vehicles, plus a dump truck and a small excavator stolen from separate locations in Rensselaer and Greene counties.
Flach is being held in the Greene County Jail on $25,000 bail. It couldn't be determined if he had a lawyer.
