Police discover two bodies near Kingsbury railroad track

Kingsbury N.Y. - Washington County Sheriff’s Office discovered two bodies along the train tracks south of the Route 196 overpass Sunday.

Officials believe the victims may have been struck by a passing train.

Police are working with Canadian Pacific Rail as investigators try to piece together what happened. The coroner has removed the bodies from the scene for autopsy.

Names of the victims are not being released until the family is notified.

Washington County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the incident.

After reporting that these two unfortunates were apparently hit by a train, saying that the investigators are trying to "piece together" what happened, is a very poor choice of words.
