There are new details in the Michael Mosley murder trial. After 12 days of testimony the prosecution has rested its case.

Their last witness took the stand at the very end of the day. Mosley's uncle and then boss while he was employed as a painter for UAlbany in 2002.

James Hardey testified that Mosley missed work for an entire week right after the murders of Arica Schneider and Sam Holley. Hardey says when Mosley returned, he had cuts and bruises on both hands. Mosley brought with him a doctor's note but the witness testified it was issued days after the murders.

The defense plans to argue the cut was the result a snow boarding trip and it reopened at the scene, explaining why Mosley's blood was found in the apartment where Arica and Holley were killed.

The defense will begin its case Wednesday.

The judge says he expects the jury to begin deliberations on Thursday.
